Eyes wide open!

Yay for local mother Jo Campbell! She couldn't get along to the big Eyes Wide Open emissions target protest in town (because she was on Playcentre duty) ... so she organised a small protest for parents and children just outside her Playcentre instead.

I was away, but the rest of my family went along, and apparently it was great.

You can see the video here. (If you want to spot my loved ones, just look for the pink bomber jacket!)

So awesome! LOVE Playcentre mums :) (have just been at a Nat Playcentre Ed. conference in Blenheim full of them :) Dalene was there too (remember from RUA?).
I have to move to Wellington.
My bro is co-organising this event - http://www.adayatthebeach.org.nz/
He also spoke to people (Nick Smith et al) recently promoting a 40-50% target - 10-20 just pathetic really...

Hi Ruth - cool! Yes - I remember Dalene. Must've been nice to meet her.

A day at the beach looks great.

If you are ever up this way either on hol or more long term - it'll be great to meet!!!

Hope you and baby are well. :)
